Thanassis Rikakis

Executive Vice President and Provost, Virginia Tech; XSEAD PI

Thanassis Rikakis was formerly Vice provost for Design, Arts and Technology at Carnegie Mellon University. His research work and publications are in the areas of experiential media, mixed reality rehabilitation, interdisciplinary education, sound perception, and media arts systems for education. His educational background is in music composition and computer music.
